Welcome to Crescent Creations, a site dedicated to the unique side of Confederate living history. Based out of Shreveport, LA, all garments are made by Nic Clark, a fifteen-year veteran of living history. Never known as a conformist, Nic Clark has a passion to re-create those unique clothing items not commercially produced by those whose business it is to make American Civil War-era clothing.

Crescent Creations desires to offer the one-of-a-kind, and the under-represented clothing items, all of which are based upon surviving examples, original photographs of Confederate soldiers, or taken from primary documents and their descriptions.

The crescent moon and star are unofficial/official symbols historically used by Louisianans.  Most of the truly unique garments found in this site will be Louisiana-inspired.
