Biography

Nic Clark has been involved with American Civil War living history for fifteen years.  Within that time, he has become very familiar with the material culture of the American Civil War soldier, both North and South, but with an increased enthusiasm for the uniqueness of which the Southern Confederate soldier appeared in both the field, and in photographs. 

Nic Clark has been studying the American Civil War for over twenty years, and has his history degree from Centenary College of Louisiana.  Nic Clark has worked as an interpreter ranger for the State of Louisiana at the Battle of Mansfield, and most recently has worked for the National Park Service within the architecture and engineering preservation department.
